How many of you have started making Christmas cookies? They make such great gifts. I plan on giving some away, all neatly packaged, to some friends.
I thought it would be fun to share them with all of you too.
I'll start with the classic mitten cookie.
Step 1: Flood an oval shape with white icing for the cuff.
Step 2: Flood the rest of the mitten with blue(or a color of your choice).
Step 3: While the blue is still wet, pipe the white and red stripe.
Step 4: Using a skewer, drag the icing across the stripes. Be sure to clean the skewer between each swipe.
