It's getting colder and colder here at my house.  It's time for hats and mittens, chocolate hats and mittens.  These mint patties on a stick are perfect for a winter get together.

A Time For Thanks

Can you believe that Thanksgiving is just a few days away?  How did this happen?  I'm not prepared!  I'll be doing my grocery shopping tomorrow.  Looks like I left myself no other choice than to battle the crowds at the store.  No, I won't be participating in black Friday.  The crowd at the grocery store is enough for me.  It's well worth the hand to hand to get the fixin's for sweet potato heaven(the kiddos' favorite) and turtle pie(hubby's favorite).  It just isn't Thanksgiving without them.

Better than a Bookmark - It's Pinterest

Have you heard of Pinterest yet?  My sister told me about it a while back.  It's a place to store all those great ideas you find out in Internet land.  It's much better than a bookmark pull down that extends down past the end of your screen. (Am I the only one?)  Pinterest arranges all of your "pinned" pages very neatly on your selected boards.  Best of all, it saves the link with a picture.

Soccer Cookies

Our fall soccer season is over hear in New England.  My boys had their last games on Saturday.  I couldn't help but celebrate with the team with some well deserved cookies.  These can be somewhat time consuming, but the resulting smiles are worth it!

I wrapped these all individually and the coach, my husband, gave them out as trophies.
